Mold components can be divided into three categories: frame plates, frame components, and cavity molds. The frame or base plate consists of individual formwork which, depending on size and complexity, can be seven plates in a stripper mold, or even as many as twenty or more. The main function of the character code mold component is to engrave fonts on the finished product.
